Our History

Medical Services Plus, LLC was founded in 1988 in San Antonio, Texas by Frank and Connie Lazenby. Originally named MedPlus Services, the business began as an idea for a side job for a little extra cash. Utilizing their own labor 24-7, the husband and wife tag-team began the makeshift courier service out of the back of their cars with only a handful of accounts.

Over the next two decades, “Frank and Connie” (as they are known) built their business from the ground up and earned a reputation in San Antonio for quick, dependable and loyal service specializing in medical STATS.

Meet the Owners

Ana and Lupe began their love affair with MSP long before they ever tied the knot. As owners of MSP since 2006, continuous innovation has been their hallmark, allowing them to establish the most reliable, streamlined medical courier company in Central and South Texas.

Ana and Lupe are proud to be a local (both are natives of the west side of San Antonio), minority-owned, multi-generational small business that has provided jobs to the community for over thirty years. The values of MSP go beyond just delivery; they play a major role in the community’s health by putting patient care first.

The company prioritizes community investment through the “reach one, teach one” ethos; the belief in being positive role models and mentors to young people with similar backgrounds and donating time and money to support local organizations such as: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), SA Youth, American Cancer Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Susan G. Komen Foundation, SA Foodbank and countless others.

Beyond their professional endeavors, Ana and Lupe stay active and busy raising two beautiful children, Joaquin (4) and Lilliana (2). They enjoy do-it-yourself projects at home and party-planning for family and friends.
